So this summer I am going to try and do tons of book reviews over all of the books I read.
This will be hopefully be the first of many different book reviews over the course of this summer!

Yay summer the time of year when I am not bogged down by constant school work and I can finally get around to reading all of the books I have been meaning to read. And also reread all of my favorites!

Even though winter is my favorite season because of my obsession with curling up in a comfy chair with hot chocolate and a great book. But Summer is fine and because I can not really live out my fantasy because I live in South Texas and it only gets really cold here every once in a while. I am forced to sit by the pool covered in sunscreen and read a book. Which in theory is not that bad of an alternative.

So I am finally able to get around to reading Cassandra Claire's Mortal Instrument series and I cannot wait. After all of the good things I have heard about them I am sure they will not disappoint.

What are some of your favorite summer books that I can read during my summer vacation? I can't wait to find out!

This is an incredible book with a strong female character who is searching for herself. Kristen Cashore did a wonderful job and weaving this coming of age story in a interesting different way. And I cannot wait for the Prequel Fire! SO if you are looking for a great book with love, intrigue, fighting (hand to hand, and sword), and unusual abilities this is the book for you!

So I have been thinking and I just thought of something you know how specialists say that your teen years are like really crucial to a teen development and that they need to be loved and get lots of sleep and all that well if that is true then why does the school system go against all of that?

They give us tons of homework which = no sleep
We get tormented by our fellow peers and only a few people care
We are put under so much pressure to get into college that we have no time for anything else.

What do you think?

So I read this book called the bar code tattoo by Suzanne Weyn and it was really good it had all different levels of suspense and mystery.

It had a good plot but the very beginning was kind of slow but after I got past the first few pages it was good.

It has a sequel called the bar code rebellion which I am going to read next so look out for a review of that one.

Okaaaaaaay, Here's What's Going Down!

In the next five days, Steph’s (my) blog will be taken over by Awesome.

Awesome authors are going to stop by to give their two cents on an array of different topics, all of them pertaining to being a girl. (No, it’s not like those horrid videos we watched in 5th grade all over again. Give me some credit, will you?)

They’ll be talking about feminism back in the day, body image, social stigma, health, friendship, fashion, and other topics like such. There will be posts about women’s rights. Etc.

Awesome books are gonna get reviewed. (A little secret between you and me—none of the reviews have been written yet. None. We’ll see how I manage.)

And if you couldn’t care less, here’s something to tip the scale: Giveaways. A whole freakin’ lot of them. For a great many books, too.

So, stick around to find out the guest list. You’ll probably recognize some of the names. The ones you don’t, you’ll hopefully get a good introduction to.

Here’s the info I can give you now:

One of my favorite things to do when I was little was to, on a cold winters night snuggle on my bed or a couch and drink hot chocolate and read. I absolutely loved to do this but I can't do it as much anymore because I live in Southern Texas now where it really doesn't get that cold so it is not as much fun. But still even if you live in 100 degree heat curl up and read with a nice drink.

There are many books that I love to read and some books that sound so good that I just can't wait to come out so I can read them! And I want to share them with you so sometime in the next week I am going to post a list of some of my all time favorite books, just in time for the holidays!
